Lilac-breasted Rollers are brightly-coloured birds found across southern and eastern Africa. They like to perch on tree tops, poles and other high vantage points so they can scout for insects and amphibians moving on the ground.

The bird itself, from beak to tail, is 23cm long. The overall height with the pole is 135cm.

Note: The bird sits on a detachable steel pole. For local pickups, the pole is included in the price. For shipped orders, the pole is not included but it’s easy to get one from a hardware store. A pole with a diameter of 6mm will fit the bracket under the bird. The length is up to you but we find that 1.2m is a good height.
