Malachite Kingfisher (Large) on a Pole – Recycled Metal
$70.00
Malachite Kingfishers can be found all over Africa south of the Sahara. Ours are made in Zimbabwe from recycled metal and ethically sourced, of course!
The bird itself is 16cm high. The overall height with the pole is 137cm.
Note: The bird sits on a detachable steel pole.
- For local pickups, the pole is included in the price.
- For shipped orders, the pole is not included but it’s easy to get one from a hardware store. A pole with a diameter of 6mm will fit the bracket under the bird. The length is up to you but we find that 1.2m is a good height. Due to the size and weight of these sculptures they don’t qualify for flat-rate shipping. If you’d like one sent to you, please contact us for a shipping quote.
We spray our metal sculptures with clear gloss lacquer to prevent them from rusting so they can be placed outside. For information on maintaining your sculpture please see our FAQ page.
Please note: these sculptures have been handmade so each one is unique. The dimensions are therefore typical rather than actual, and there may be some minor variations between sculptures.
